Time Out New York says

An Israeli cellist of striking gifts and eclectic tastes, Yoed Nir has toured the world alongside a truly disparate range of artists, including Judy Collins, Regina Spektor, Rufus Wainwright, Of Montreal and Mountain Goats. Now, harking back to his classical roots, he plays material from a recent CD, Suspended Hours, which deftly mixes classical decorum and pop-song charm.
